
About Kathy McCrohon
Kathy McCrohon is the proud founder and director of the Kathy McCrohon Dance Center (KMDC), where she has been inspiring dancers and creating unforgettable performances for decades. A gifted teacher of multiple dance styles, Kathy has led her students to perform at major national events including Disney, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and NFL halftime shows.Her love for The Nutcracker and classic stage productions has driven her to host and direct many of her own shows, including Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin, Newsies, and more. Since 1985, Kathy has also been designing and outfitting performers with custom-made costumes, dance uniforms, and performance wear. From leotards, skirts, and tights to headpieces, props, and stage equipment—every detail of her shows is carefully crafted by her own hands.Kathy’s creativity and commitment to the arts have earned her numerous awards, including Miss Talent America, multiple choreographer honors, and recognition from the Worcester Opera. She was also the first recipient of the Worcester Ballet Scholarship.Whether she’s choreographing a group routine or designing a solo costume, Kathy brings passion, precision, and heart to everything she does—continuing to shape the next generation of dancers through her lifelong love of performance.
